Welcome to changinglight, the gallery of landscape photographer Andy Lock and home to images from around the Scottish Highlands. Few places on earth are as magnificent and unspoiled as Scotland's dramatic landscape now captured for you in a collection of photographs enjoyed the world over - and now available to buy in a range of unique prints.

I am a photographer based in the UK. As well as a huge library of stock images my work is also available on canvas wraps, prints and acrylics. My website is a fun, eco-friendly site made entirely from recycled computers. My photography was born from my desire to travel to exotic countries. A four-month journey around Mexico then filled me with the desire to capture the wonderful life and scenery that had filled my eyes and fuelled my imagination. Unfortunately back then all I had was a very old compact camera with a severely scratched lens, so the images I took really weren't very good. But I saw the potential in what was there and, upon return, decided to invest in my first SLR and start to learn how to take better photos. The rest, as they say, is history.

Chris Upton is an award winning Landscape & Travel photographer from Southwell, Nottinghamshire. He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and was Highly Commended in the 2007 Wanderlust Travel Photographer of the Year competition. In 2008, and again in 2010, Chris was commissioned to photograph in Thailand on behalf of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Chris exhibited at the highly successful Masters of Vision Exhibition of Photography at Southwell Minster in 2009. He has also held two solo exhibitions and lectures widely.

He is represented by several stock image libraries and his work has been featured in many magazines and books. “Photography has long been a keen interest but over the past few years it has become a passion. Whilst I have had success in many areas of photography it is really Landscape and Travel that inspires me the most. I photograph throughout the UK but have also visited some great locations around the world. The opportunity to visit magical places, meet the people and observe their culture has been a wonderful experience. My goal is always to capture some of that that feeling in my images”.

Some years ago I fell in love with the art of photography. With photography I have the opportunity to travel, register emotions and feelings, meet people, places and cultures. These factors have let me see far beyond my day to day.

When I look through my viewfinder I try to go beyond the simple recording of an image -  I must feel, capturing the essence of people and places. More important than the technique and camera that is used, I shoot with my heart, this is what motivates me to be in love with photography.

I hope that through my pictures you can enjoy and share with me the beauty of our world and people that have crossed my way in this endless journey that is life.

Damian Shields was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to Scotland when he was three years old. Initially more at home with charcoal and oil paint, Damian began exploring the creative possibilities of photography in his mid-twenties. He acquired his first film camera (a cheap Miranda 35mm SLR) in 1992 and, during a portfolio presentation course at Strathclyde Arts Centre, became involved in darkroom processing and printing black-and-white film. This sparked the beginnings of a love affair with the medium which subsequently gained him acceptance to the Fine Art Photography department of the Glasgow School of Art, then headed by the renowned landscape photographer Thomas Joshua Cooper. He has worked as a professional retoucher in the media industry for the last 12 years and is currently employed as a multimedia production journalist for The Glasgow Herald.

Carl Mickleburgh is a photographer based in North Nottinghamshire. His website has a selection of landscapes pictures, weddings, portraits, fine art and macro photography work.

I'm a nature photographer based in Germany. Although I take photos for selling on iStockphoto, my focus is on landscape and nature photography. A large part of my portfolio covers the famous Saxon Switzerland, a region of abstract sandstone rock formations in southeastern Germany.

This is the site of Landscape and Adventure photographer Peter Boswell. Peter has been involved in photography for about 35 years. Initially on a part time basis providing images for climbing publications and websites and now on a full time basis. This has meant that he can focus on his passion of Landscape photography.

Being based on the East Coast of Scotland in the beautiful Kingdom of Fife he has no shortage of stunning locations and wonderfull light to capture on a daily basis whatever the season right on his doorstep. However due to his central location he has easy access to all Scotland has to offer and now spends his time producing wonderful images for his website and gallery.

He also offers photographic all inclusive holidays based in a luxury farmhouse in North Fife. Courses run for 1 week (6 nights) or a weekend (2 nights). He also offers unique courses based in the more remote parts of Scotland which are based in a luxury Camper van and take in the opportunity for shooting from the summits of some of Scotlands signature mountains. Although an experienced mountaineer himself, in order to focus 100% on the client he brings along a qualified mountain leader. He has also teamed up with one of Scotlands elite climbers who will come along and climb giving those clients who are interested the opportunity to shoot the action and adventure images he has a passion for.

Together with my wife Lesley we are A12 Photography. We are based in Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk, which puts us right in the heart of East Anglia. With the A12 and A14 on our door step, it gives us a unique opportunity to access the whole of East Anglia and beyond.

We primarily shoot landscape, heritage, horticultural and event photography and are more than happy to look at any photography project you have in mind.
