Max went to film school in New York, studying directing and camera (NYU). He also worked as a director ("Letzte Sehnsucht" RTL), as an actor ("Die glückliche Familie" ARD) and as a photojournalist ("Capital", "Südwest Presse").

Max loves photography and working with actors. These days his portraits are published in well known magazines such as Stern, TV Spielfilm and others.
